Vinted Fee Calculator 2026
Vinted advertises "sell for free" — and it's true, sellers pay nothing. But understanding how Vinted makes money helps you price competitively.
How Vinted Makes Money
Vinted charges buyers, not sellers. The buyer pays a "buyer protection fee" on top of the item price:
- 5% of item price + a fixed fee of $0.70–$2.00 depending on item price
- Buyers see the fee added at checkout — not sellers
What Sellers Actually Keep
If you list at $20, you receive $20. The buyer pays ~$21.70 total (your $20 + their protection fee). You pocket everything.
Compare to Poshmark: selling at $20 on Poshmark, you'd only keep $14 (after the $2.95 flat fee below $15, or 80% above $15).
The Hidden Factor: Shipping
Vinted uses Evri/Inpost in Europe and varies by country. In the US, shipping is handled separately. Factor shipping costs into your listing price if you offer free shipping.
